STM 2007: Mexico City
Crystal and I have been given the wonderful opportunity to lead the Short Term Ministries trip to Mexico City once again this year. Although many aspects of the trip will be the same, we are looking forward to new and exciting things that the Lord will do in 2007. The dates that have been set are tentatively the 2nd and 3rd weeks of July. More to come...

STM 2006: Mexico City

Crystal and I will be leading a group of 11 people from Grace Community Church on a Missions Trip to Mexico City. We leave July 29th and return August 13th. Luis Miguel Contreras, (GCC's full time missionary in Mexico City pictured above), requested a group to come down to do a couple of Youth Conferences, along with a VBS. We pray that we can be a blessing to Luis, his family, and the many other pastors and church members we will be serving. In addition, we also plan on doing some evangelism and pray that the Lord would use us to call His children to Himself through His Word. Please pray for us, that God would be greatly glorified through our trip, that the hearts of the saints would be refreshed, and that the lost would come to know their Savior.

8/9/2006 Still in Mexico and having a great time!

Luis and I

The First Week we did a VBS, we taught for hours and they did such a good job listening!

They did crafts, games, snacks, and memory verses too.

We gave them all a folder with their memory verses and some Bible pictures to color.

This little boy called Crystal his aunt and never wanted to leave her...smart kid :)

Here are our kids :)

Everyone pitched in and helped with the various tasks to be done.

We helped with some projects at the house of GCC's other full time missionary Elena Parker.

Painting away...

Pastor Enrique Godoy is the pastor of the Church which housed our conferences.

While here, we led the service at Iglesia Biblica Naucalpan, where Luis pastors.

We played some ice-breakers before starting our Youth Conference.

We taught on the fear of the Lord during the conference, a subject many of them had a hard time accepting, since many of them come from a background believing that God is only a God of love.

We had a different person give their testimony every day, some of them needed translation.

Here is most of our team, we've been so busy that we haven't taken a team picture yet! We hope to do that today or tomorrow...
